At RYLA, meals at Menucha are more than just food—they’re part of the experience. Each day begins with the smell of freshly baked pastries and breads, crafted with Northwest–grown, mill-ground flour and paired with house-made jams featuring local berries. Whenever possible, the kitchen sources fresh fruits and vegetables from nearby growers, making every meal feel thoughtful, fresh, and nourishing.
All meals are served in Wright Hall, where gathering around the table becomes a highlight of the day. Breakfast is served at 8:00 a.m., lunch at noon, and dinner at 6:00 p.m. Meals are served family-style, inviting participants to sit with their group, share dishes, pass platters, and enjoy a warm, communal dining experience. It’s a simple tradition that sparks conversation, builds friendships, and strengthens the sense of community that makes RYLA unforgettable.
